Hank Williams Documentary (BBC) Refer to Motion Picture "I SAW THE LIGHT" |
Hank was the "King" of Country Music. He was a
true Country artist. He devoted his life to bring people
joy. Every song he sang on stage touched my
heart. Every song impressed me. He will live in our hearts
forever. He enjoyed a reputation as "Hillbilly Shakespeare"and the second coming of Stephen Collins
Foster. Legend Lives Anew ! Hank was GREAT !! The
most influential Country singer in my life.

"Scots-Irish, The Road To Appalachia" |
In the 18th
century, the first settlers that came to Pennsylvania were Englishmen, Scotch-Irish
people,
and Germans. They moved
onto the Appalachian Mountains by way of the pass called Cumberland Gap.
The most influential group was the Scotch-Irish. They brought folk ballads from
the
British Isles, mainly
from Scotland, and Northern
Ireland (Ulster) with them. Many people settled down
in the Appalachian
Mountains. Some people headed toward the wild west, crossing the Mississippi River.
The route that
the pioneers passed through was called "The Sun
Belt".

Marty is fabulous ! Awesome !

I guess no one can impersonate Marty Robbins, Jim Reeves, Buck Owens and Glen
Campbell.
Martin David Robinson (Marty Robbins) left many
great Country ballads,
Cowboy songs, Trail songs
as well as Hawaiian songs during his life. He
went to Hillbilly Heaven
on December 8, 1982.
I guess he's singing on the stage of Hillbilly Heaven up there with Hank Williams, Jim
Reeves, Buck
Owens,
Dottie West, Johnny Cash, George Jones, Faron Young and CHARLEY PRIDE.

It happens that we can find some similarities among
old-time Country & Western tunes, Celtic music
from Scotland and
Ireland, and Japanese folk music, which might be interesting to some
folklorists
as well as many
music fans.
For example, an American folk song "'East Virginia" Pete Seeger sang
and a Japanese folk
song "Tsugaru Jongarabushi" sound
similar.
A traditional folk ballad "Oh, bury me not on the lone prairie" and a Country song
entitled "Kaw-Liga"
composed by Hank Williams also sound like
a folk song you hear in Amami Islands, Japan.

Amazon
Johnny Cash My Grandfather's Clock
(Video
Sites)
Google
Music Manager

I've had a music group sharing links. I've been keeping in touch with the
people like a music
critic, the owners of the CD shops that sell Country music albums, and the performers
of the
bluegrass band, My relatives are Country music fans too. I've been
a Country music fan for
more than forty
years. I think you are a POET while listening to the Country music tunes.
Here's a well-known remark written by Robert Burns.
"One drop of shine that shines in the corner of the
leaf has the beauty of diamonds.

(Buck
(Marty
(Jim
(Glen
Campbell)
(Connie Smith, Susan Raye, Melba Montgomery, Martina
McBride, Patsy
Every singer is awesome. I think
Melba Montgomery is one of the finest woman singers
that I've ever heard. There are so many countless good Country
singers I
can't place
the names of the rest of them concerning space for which I must apologize.
think I'm going to like loving you"
"I thank him for sending me you" "Somewhere
between" "Think of me" "We're
"Cindy"
Bill
Monroe & His Bluegrass Boys
(Slim Dusty)
Ricky Skaggs is a big name Country artist. Slim
Dusty was a great Australian singer.
Mick Flavin is an Irish Country singer. Anne Murray, Shania Twain
and (the late)
Hank
Snow are Canadian Country singers.

Micky who has compiled the treasured
Country & Western tunes was influenced by American and Australian
friends. Taking a collection of about 1000 LP and CD albums that I own
as "Anchoring Point" into consideration,
I started compiling my favorite tunes.
.....................................................................................................................................................................................................................
One of the Country ballads I feel like singing is
"Someday
you'll call my name and I won't anwser", which was one of
the late great Hank Williams' numbers. Another favorite one is "Wildflowers don't care where
they grow", one of the
beautiful Country ballads Dolly Parton sang. Mick Flavin did it too.

Stay alert, Stop the spread, Save lives.
Avoid being infected without getting into the sealed stuffy rooms, the crowd and
the
short-distance talk. To avoid the worst case scenario, keep at least 6 feet
(more than 2 meters) away from others. This is called the "Social
Distance".
Be sure to wash hands after you hold the things like doorknobs, handrails and
laptop computers which virus carriers might have
touched. Never touch your
face. Please use wet kleenex tissue or a cloth instead. You
must wear a mask
in the crowd to stop the spread. Make sure to disinfect
the things you use .
Covid19 virus stays in your mouth. So don't forget to keep
your mouth clean
by brushing teeth and gargling. Take care not to be infected
with BA5 Sars-Cov-2.
We have wished for an early development of effective vaccine that
can be used to
provide immunity against diseases caused by Coronavirus.
In
addition, both medical systems called traditional Oriental Medicine and Modern
Western Medicine are necessary to save lives. The former such
as garlic extract might improve
your immune system. Infected
as you might be, the case–fatality rate is low.
The
Japanese Association for Infectious Diseases
→ The
City of Seattle has preceded the policy of "Social Distance" to avoid
the worst.
SAVE animals facing the threat of extinction. The number of them is decreasing.
